approval of the Cabinet was granted to the proposal made by Hon. T.B. Ekanayake, Minister of Culture and the Arts, to enter into the above Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries.  This MoU will further promote the friendly relations existing between the two countries and re-affirm the   need for cultivating and developing closer and stronger cultural relations between the two countries.
