this MoU recognizes the importance of science and technology in the development of the respective national economies and the value of cooperation between the two countries to serve common interests in contributing to the enhancement of science and technology. Approval of the Cabinet was granted to the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Technology, Research and Atomic Energy for signing of the above MoU between the two countries.
