the proposal made by Hon. Vasudeva Nanayakkara, Minister of National Languages and Social Integration, to declare 15th to 21st July 2013 as the “Social Integration Week”, was approved by the Cabinet. Many activities and programmes have been identified for the purpose, to be carried out to promote social integration in the country.
