Memorandum of Understanding on Judicial Corporation between the Ministry of Justice of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Justice of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

- this Memorandum of Understanding provides inter alia for the two nations to cooperate on the following areas:

* exchange of experience on implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea;

* exchange of experience on Commercial Dispute Settlement by arbitration and other mechanisms;

* developing and implementing laws on foreign investment;

* exchange of experience on Legal and Judicial Reforms; and

* other areas of mutual interest.

The proposal made by Hon. Rauff Hakeem, Minister of Justice, to sign the above Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries, was approved by the Cabinet.
