Introduction of a New Petroleum Resources Act by Repealing the Petroleum Resources Act, No.26 of 2003

- the proposal made by H.E. the President, to instruct the Legal Draftsman to prepare a new Bill for the exploration, production, management and regulation of petroleum resources in Sri Lanka and to repeal the existing Act in keeping with the present day needs of the country, was approved by the Cabinet.
