Signing of Loan Agreement between the Government of Sri Lanka and European Investment Bank for the financing of investments on Small and Medium Enterprises and Green Energy Sectors in Sri Lanka

- the European Investment Bank has agreed to provide financial assistance in a sum of Euro 90 million to the Government of Sri Lanka to finance Small and Medium Enterprises Development and for investments in Green Energy Sectors such as renewable energy initiatives of the Public and Private Sector Companies. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, to proceed with the activities relating to loan arrangements with the European Investment Bank, was approved by the Cabinet.
