Rehabilitation of National Highways with concrete surfacing through Domestic Contractors - rehabilitation of the section of the road from 0 to 29.4 km on Chilaw - Wariyapola Road (B79)

- the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to rehabilitate the above section of the road with asphalt concrete surfacing instead of cement concrete surfacing, in order to limit the total cost of the project within the amount of the loan facility available from the Bank of Ceylon and to award the contract for a sum of Rs.2,614,923,796.26, was approved by the Cabinet.
