Rehabilitation and Improvements to the Road Section from Matara to Godagama (From 0.10 km to 3.50 km) on Matara-Akuressa Road (A24)

- the government of Sri Lanka has received a loan of US$ 85 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for financing a portion of highway upgrading component of the National Highways Sector Project. A part of the loan will be utilized for the above project. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to award the above contract for a sum of Rs.639,302,114.01, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
