Provisions for the maintenance of the Residential Care Home for the children profoundly disabled by Autism and Autism related disorders

- the ?Udapadi Trust? has been initiated in 2003 by a group of parents to meet the needs of the children profoundly disabled by Autism and Autism related disorders at least to a certain extent. On the proposal made by Hon. Felix Perera, Minister of Social Services, to provide funds for the purpose, Cabinet observed that funds have already been provided through the Budget Estimate for the year 2013. Cabinet also decided that the Ministry of Social Welfare should formulate a proper mechanism for the welfare of such disabled children and prepare an Action Plan for the purpose.
