Improvement of the road sections from 33.50 to 44.00 km and from 57.00 to 59.00 km on Naula - Elahara - Laggala - Pallegama - Hettipola Road (B 312) and the road section from 20.00 to 45.00 km on Hasalaka - Handungamuwa Road (B 484) with financial assistance from Hatton National Bank PLC under Rehabilitation of Priority Roads with financial assistance from Local Banks

- the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, to authorize the Road Development Authority to enter into a loan agreement with the Hatton National Bank PLC to borrow a loan of Rs.3,223,310,033/- for the above project, was approved by the Cabinet.
