Awarding of contract of Consultancy Services to Energy Diversification Enhancement Project - Phase II A - Feasibility Study for Introducing LNG to Sri Lanka
- Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA) has provided a loan of Japanese Yen 820 million to the Government of Sri Lanka for the Energy Diversification Enhancement Project (Engineering Services). The project consists of 2 Phases of Feasibility Study and Phase 1 has already been completed. The proposal made by Hon. Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Minister of Power and Energy, to award the above contract for consultancy services for Phase II A for a total amount of Japanese Yen 443,021,164.00 and SLR 184,051,196.00, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Consultancy Procurement Committee (CACPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
