Greater Colombo Waste Water Management Project Funded by Asian Development Bank - Award of Contract for Rehabilitation of Sea outfalls

? the government has received a loan of US$ 116.63 million from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the rehabilitation of the above sewerage system. It is intended to utilize a part of the proceeds of the loan towards the cost of rehabilitation of Muttwal North-sea Outfall and Wellawatta South-sea Outfall. The proposal made by Hon. A.L.M. Athaullah, Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils, to award the above contract for a total cost of US$15,983,657.39, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (CAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
