Preparation of Legislation to Amend the Resettlement Authority Act, No. 09 of 2007

- the proposal made by Hon. Gunarathna Weerakoon, Minister of Resettlement, to submit the draft Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman to extend the validity period of the Resettlement Authority Act, No.09 of 2007 for a further of three (03) years beyond April 10, 2013 to Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
