Consultancy Services for Carrying out Feasibility Studies, Environmental Impact Assessment and Preparation of Documents for the Phase 1 of the Proposed Northern Expressway

? Phase I of the proposed Northern Expressway is to be constructed under 3 stages and Stage I of the project from Enderamulla to Meerigama, a length of 42.5 km, will be constructed initially with 4 lanes. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to award the contract for the consultancy services to carry out feasibility studies etc. for contract price of AUD 3,998,671 plus LKR 414,233,734, was approved by the Cabinet.
