Supplying of Locally produced Maize for the Thriposha Programme - 2012

- the proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to implement the Action Plan jointly formulated by the Ministries of Finance and Planning; Economic Development; Health; Industry and Commerce; Agriculture; and Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited, to enhance the production capacity of the Thriposha Institute and increase the domestic production of the basic raw materials such as Soya Bean and Maize, so that the quantity of Thriposha given to target groups can be doubled and excess quantities could be supplied to the export market, was approved by the Cabinet.
