- the proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, for the implementation of the project for the construction of a Surgical Ward Complex and Quarters for Consultants and Medical Officers at the premises of the District General Hospital (DGH), Mulaitivu, at a cost of Rs.130,000,000.00, with financial assistance of AmeriCares, a Non-Governmental Organization, which has expressed its willingness to assist the project, was approved by the Cabinet.
