Establishment of an Emergency Service Centre at the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital with funds to be provided under the Foundation Supporting a National Trauma Service in Sri Lanka, in the State of Victoria, Australia and the Ministry of Health
- the proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to develop emergency and accident service facilities at the Batticaloa Teaching Hospital at a cost of Rs.760 million, consisting of a contribution of US $02 million (Rs.260 million) in cash and kind by the Foundation Supporting a National Trauma Service in Sri Lanka, in the State of Victoria, Australia, was approved by the Cabinet.
