Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2012-11-14

Commencing of a Tourist Information Centre and a sales outlet under the 'Divinaguma' Programme and to be operated by the Laksala of Sri Lanka Handicrafts Board

- the proposal made by Hon. Dayasritha Tissera, Minister of State Resources and Enterprise Development, to vest the Unawatuna Branch of Lanka Salusala with the Sri Lanka Handicrafts Board, so as to develop it as a Tourist Information Centre and a sales outlet under the 'Divinaguma' Programme for the benefit of local as well as foreign tourists, was approved by the Cabinet.
