Allocation of Land Blocks from Regional Industrial Estates to set up Industries

- the objective of this programme is to promote industrial development at regional level. There are 26 Industrial Estates established in the Districts. The proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce, to allocate blocks of land to 24 prospective investors, as recommended by Regional Industry Service Committees, was approved by the Cabinet.
