Construction of nine storied Building Complex (Phase IV) for the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura -

- the objective of the proposed construction project is to provide adequate space for the increasing number of student intake to the Faculty of Medical Sciences, as well as for the improvement of facilities and infrastructure for teaching and research activities. The proposal made by Hon. S.B. Dissanayake, Minister of Higher Education, for the construction of the above with approved funds under the Medium Term Budgetary Framework, to commence the project in 2012 and complete it in 2018, was approved by the Cabinet.
