Conversion of Sri Lanka Driving Licenses issued Prior to 2009 to New Smart Card Driving Licenses

- the proposal made by Hon. Kumara Welgama, Minister of Transport, to convert the remaining number of Old Driving Licenses of approximately 1.2 million, issued prior to 2009, to the New Smart Card Driving License System and to complete the task within a period of two years, was approved by the Cabinet.
