with the view to providing better health care services to the people living in the relevant areas, the proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health to award the above tender to the lowest responsive bidder, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, at a cost of US $4,054,495.00, was approved by the Cabinet.
