Construction of Matara-Beliatta Section of Matara-Kataragama Railway Extension Project

- Cabinet approval has already been granted for the above project and a contract agreement has been signed between the General Manager of Railways and a company in China for the construction of the above. The proposal made by Hon. Kumara Welgama, Minister of Transport, to authorize the General Manager of Railways to sign a supplementary agreement pertaining to the above project, was approved by the Cabinet.
