Sri Lanka Membership at Bureau of International Expositions (BIE)

? the primary objective of World Exposition is to share all branches of knowledge and technology with the rest of the world. The present membership of the Bureau of International Expositions is 160 member countries. The proposal made by Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce to renew Sri Lanka's membership of the BIE, so as to promote and sustain closer relationship with other member countries, was approved by the Cabinet.
