Modernization of Sapugaskanda Oil Refinery

- the proposal made by Hon. Susil Premajayantha, Minister of Petroleum Industries, for action to be taken to modernize the Sapugaskanda Oil Refinery at a cost of US $500 million and to appoint a Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee to make recommendations to the Cabinet and also to appoint a Committee consisting of relevant experts in the field, to examine the feasibility of expansion of the Sapugaskanda Refinery and make recommendations, was approved by the Cabinet.
