Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on Visa Free Travel for Holders of Diplomatic and Official/Service Passports

? the objective of the proposed agreement is to enable persons who are in possession of Diplomatic, Official/Service Passports, to enter into, depart from, transit through or stay in Russia or Sri Lanka, as the case may be, without having obtained a prior visa for the duration of an official mission. The proposal made by Hon. (Prof.) G.L. Pieris, Minister of External Affairs, to sign the above agreement between Sri Lanka and the Russian Federation, was approved by the Cabinet.
