Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2012-08-15

Obtaining the Services of University of Moratuwa for Designing, Preparation of Tender Documents, Soil Testing, Developing Plans and Supervision of Construction work of the Proposed Kelaniya Branch Office & Training Centre and the Proposed Kotte Branch Office of Lanka Electricity Company (Private) Limited (LECO)

? the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Power and Energy, to obtain the services of the University of Moratuwa for the above purpose, with the view to providing better services to the consumers living in the relevant areas and to save the cost of rental being paid at present to private parties, was approved by the Cabinet.
