Medium Term Expenditure Framework 2013-2015 and Preparation of Budget 2013

- H.E. the President, in his capacity of the Minister of Finance and Planning, informed the Cabinet of Ministers that the Ministry has already commenced the initial activities relating to the preparation of the Budget 2013, based on the Medium Term Expenditure Framework 2013 - 2015. The Budget 2013 is to be prepared in line with the policies and strategies implemented under the "Mahinda Chintana - Vision for the Future - The Development Policy Framework of the Government", to achieve a higher economic growth, ensuring the distribution of benefits to all segments of communities and also maintaining a balanced development in all sectors.
