Allocation of land from Kandapola Forest Reserve, Seetha Eliya for High Frequency Receiving Station

- Sri Lanka is responsible for the provision of Air Navigation Services and Communication Services for the Aircraft operating within the region assigned to Sri Lanka under the Regional Air Navigational Plan of the International Civil Aviation Organization. The Joint proposal made by Hon. Piyankara Jayaratne, Minister of Civil Aviation and Hon. Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, Minister of Environment, to proceed with the allocation of the above land for the purpose, subject to stipulations made, was approved by the Cabinet.
