Printing of School Textbooks for the year 2013

- the proposal made by Hon. Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Education, to award the tender for the printing and supply of 29,173,950 copies of School Text Books belonging to 322 categories for the year 2013, on the recommendations of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, to 18 printing institutes for a total cost of Rs.1,597,637,818, for distribution to schools prior to the end of the year 2012, was approved by the Cabinet.
