Draft Agreement between the Governments of Sri Lanka and India for the avoidance of Double Taxation and prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income

- Cabinet approval has already been granted for signing of the above Draft Agreement at Government level and for its presentation in Parliament. Certain amendments proposed by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance and Planning, based on the negotiations held subsequently in Colombo, was approved by the Cabinet for inclusion in the above Draft agreement.
