Implementation of the Dengue Surveillance Project

- Cabinet of Ministers took note of the situation report submitted by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, according to which, Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Kandy, Kurunegala, Batticaloa, Matara, Kegalle, Puttalam and Ratnapura Districts are considered as high risk Districts. A total number of 11,227 cases has been reported with a total of 30 deaths and over 50% of the patients has been from the Western Province.
