Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2012-06-13

"Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) between Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute for International Relations & Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS) of Sri Lanka and Raul Roa Garcia Institute of International Relations (ISRI) of Cuba"

- the objective of the MOU is to develop academic cooperation through joint research and exchange of information between the above two institutions in Sri Lanka and Cuba, respectively. The proposal made by Hon. D.E.W. Gunasekara, Acting Minister of External Affairs, to sign the above MOU during the visit of H.E. the President of Sri Lanka to Cuba shortly, was approved by the Cabinet.
