Upgrading the Chest Hospital, Welisara

- This is the only Chest Hospital in Sri Lanka which caters to the patients throughout the country. Due to the increase in respiratory diseases prevailing in the country and to provide better facilities to patients, the proposal made by Hon. Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Health, to upgrade the Chest Hospital, Welisara, was approved by the Cabinet.
