Seminar of Asian Productivity Organization in Sri Lanka

- this Organization based in Japan gives assistance to its member countries to enhance the productivity in industrial and agricultural fields. 20 countries in the Asia -Pacific Region are members of this Organization and Sri Lanka too has signed the relevant Convention. The proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane, Minister of Agriculture, to hold the above seminar on "Training Course on Organic Product Certification and Auditing" in Sri Lanka from 18th - 23rd June 2012, was approved by the Cabinet.
