ADB Loan No.2733-SRI : Sustainable Power Sector Support Project II Transmission System Strengthening Tender for the Construction of New Galle 3X31.5MVA 132kV / 33kV Grid Substation (Lot A1 - New Galle Power Transmission Development Project)

- this is a project funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Part I of the Project is Transmission System Strengthening and it consists of the following two projects:

(a) New Galle Power Transmission Development Project; and,
(b) North East Power Transmission Development Project.

the proposal made by Hon. Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Power and Energy, to authorize the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to award the tender for the construction of New Galle 3x31.5 MVA 132 kV/33 kV Grid Substation under the New Galle Power Transmission Development Project, to ABB Ltd., India, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
