Construction of the Hostel Building at the Kaathankudi Central College, Batticaloa

- this Central College is a National School with a student population of about 2500. Students from both Batticaloa and Ampara Districts use the school hostel. The proposal made by Hon. Bandula Gunawardena, Minister of Education, to call for open competitive bidding from construction contractors in the Eastern Province, treating it as a project under the 2013 Deyata Kirula Programme, was approved by the Cabinet.
