Rehabilitation of National Highways with Concrete Surfacing through Domestic Contractors - rehabilitation of Bibile - Pitakumbura - Namaloya - Inginiyagala Road from 0 to 60.310 km.

- the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to increase the length of the road to be rehabilitated by 20.31 km. in order to accommodate the road section from Namaloya to Inginiyagala and to rehabilitate the road with asphalt concrete surfacing instead of cement concrete surfacing and to award the contract, on the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, for a contract sum of Rs.4,605,000,000.00, was approved by the Cabinet.
