Old Kachcheri Building Located in Galle Fort

- On a proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Jagath Balasooriya, Minister of National Heritage, to develop the Old Kachcheri Building which is over 300 years old, Cabinet of Ministers decided to conserve this building and to develop it in an appropriate manner for the preservation of its archaeological, cultural and architectural value and for the promotion of the tourism industry, was approved by the Cabinet.
