Allocation of land at D.M. Colombage Mawatha, Kirulapone to the Rehabilitation Centre for the Communication Impaired (RCCI)

- the objective of this institution is to provide quality education to a largely neglected group of communication impaired and mentally retarded deserving children. The proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Defence and Urban Development, for the Urban Development Authority to lease out a block of land 12 perches in extent, situated at D.M. Colombage Mawatha, Kirulapone, to the RCCI for the construction of its own building, on terms to be determined by the Urban Development Authority, was approved by the Cabinet.
