Renting out Sections of the Old Kachcheri Building Located in Galle Fort

- on a proposal made by Hon. (Dr.) Jagath Balasooriya, Minister of National Heritage, to renovate the old Kachcheri building of which a part is presently being used by the Information Centre of the Galle Heritage Trust, it was decided that the Urban Development Authority should renovate the building, retaining its archaeological and architectural value, to be converted to a Museum.
