Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA) funded Pro-poor Eastern Infrastructure Development Project - Appointment of a sub-contractor for the construction of Kallady Bridge

- the project includes improvements to Akkaraipattu - Batticoloa - Thrukkondiadimadu road and construction of a new bridge at Kallady. The length of the proposed bridge is 288.35 M. The proposal made by H. E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to engage a sub-contractor to expedite the construction of the Kallady Bridge and to appoint a Technical Evaluation Committee to assist the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
