National Programme of Divi Naguma - 2012 Packeting and Supply of Seed Requirement for Home Gardening

- the Ministry of Agriculture has been entrusted with the task of providing two million five hundred thousand packets of seeds to the Department of Agrarian Development, each containing ten varieties of vegetable seeds and the inaugural ceremony of this national programme is to be held Island wide on 2012?04?05. The proposal made by Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Minister of Agriculture, to proceed with the programme at a cost of Rs.178,255,000, was approved by the Cabinet.
