Southern Transport Development Project (STDP) - Approval to assign development, operation and maintenance of rest areas to the Sri Lanka Insurance Resorts & SPAS Private Limited

- the proposal made by H.E. the President, in his capacity as the Minister of Ports and Highways, to sign a Lease Agreement for the development, operation and maintenance of rest areas on the Southern Expressway which are located at Welipenna on the 44th Km. from Kottawa, for a period of 99 years, with Sri Lanka Insurance Resorts & SPAS Private Limited which is a fully owned subsidiary of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited, was approved by the Cabinet.
