ADB Loan for 2011 - Sustainable Power Sector Support Project II - Part (i) Transmission System Strengthening - North East Power Transmission Development Project

- Asian Development Bank has agreed to provide funding assistance to implement six power sector projects and Eastern (North & East) Transmission Development Project is one of the six projects. The proposal made by Hon. Patali Champaka Ranawaka, Minister of Power and Energy to award the above contract, on the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee at a total cost of US $14,976,710.00 and LKR 711,236,759.00, was approved by the Cabinet.
