Provisions of Relief Assistance to the affected Fishermen due to the Storm on 25th November 2011

- the proposal made by Hon.(Dr.) Rajitha Senaratne, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development, to provide 5000 life saving jackets to selected needy fishermen in the coastal areas, in Galle and Matara Districts in particular, affected by the disaster, utilizing the Rs.40 million allocated for 2012, was approved by the Cabinet.
