Construction of four storied Administration Building for Gampaha Wickramarachchi Ayurveda Institute, University of Kelaniya

- this Institute offers Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery Degree (BAMS) and has over 400 students and it has increased the annual intake of students for this Degree programme from 80 to 120 per year. The proposal made by Hon. S.B. Dissanayake, Minister of Higher Education, to construct a four storied building at a total cost of Rs.134 million, was approved by the Cabinet. The initial work of the project will be commenced utilizing the financial provision allocated for construction work in 2012 and the balance will be completed with funds to be provided under the Medium Term Budgetary Framework 2013 - 2015.
