Supply & Delivery of Materials for Sustainable Power Sector Support Project (Expansion of Rural Electrification & Distribution System Improvement Ampara and Uva)

- the Government has received a loan from the Asian Development Bank towards the cost of Sustainable Power Sector Support Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the loan for expansion of Rural Electrification and Distribution System Improvement in Ampara and Uva. The proposal made by Hon. Patali Chanpika Ranawaka, Minister of Power and Energy, to award four relevant contracts, on the recommendations of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
