Signing of the Agreement of Co-operation in the field of Culture between the government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Government of the State of Qatar

- the proposal made by Hon. T.B. Ekanyake, Minister of Culture and the Arts, to enter into the above Agreement with the view to enhancing the cultural cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Government of Sri Lanka, was approved by the Cabinet. This will promote and develop co-operation between the two countries in the fields of culture, publications and similar areas.
