Road Project Preparatory Facility funded by Asian Development Bank

- under the Asian Development Bank funded Road Development Preparatory Facility, a consultancy contract to undertake a feasibility study and detailed engineering design of 400 Km. of Provincial Roads in Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu Districts, has already been awarded to a company in France by the Ministry of Local Government and Provincial Councils. The proposal made by Hon. A.L.M. Athaullah, Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils, on the recommendation of the Cabinet Appointed Consultant Procurement Committee, to assign the responsibility of completing the preparatory works of additional roads of the National Highways too to the same company of France, was approved by the Cabinet.
